23 de Enero is a neighborhood in Caracas, Venezuela. It was built as affordable housing blocks and its name was changed in commemoration of the expulsion of the last dictatorship led by Marcos Perez Jimenez, on January 23, 1958. Today, it is one of the city's most colorful, united, and organized sectors.
